Hudson Taylor...first missionary to inland China

I was given the book "Hudson Taylor's Spiritual Secret" by a friend of mine...this biography details his life given totally to serving God...I really recommend reading this book..

"One day as Hudson was talking to his newly baptized friend from China, Mr. Ni raised the question, "How long have you had the Good News in your country?" "Some hundreds of years," Hudson replied. "What? Hundreds of years? My father sought the truth," Mr. Ni continued sadly, "and died without finding it. Oh, why did you not come sooner?"

The end of a long road....

We started this journey two years ago (and a year before that is when God laid Czech Republic on his heart)...and now we are almost ready to move there!!! It has been a joy to watch God's creative hand weave all of these events together so that now we can look back and see the richness of his artwork...it seems to us that we will be leaving sometime in the early to mid fall...we are now waiting for our house to sell, our Czech visas to be approved, and for the remaining 25% of our support to come in (if any of you have been waiting for the right time to give...this would be as good as any). We are certainly eager to go!!!

SHOPPING IS FUN!!!

So clothes in the Czech Republic cost almost three times as much as in the US...so we are stocking up on clothes before we go...especially for the kids...maybe getting them a couple of sizes bigger to last the two years we are there...So I got to go shopping as well...see my grown-up suit!!!
