Boomers, Manteca, CA
Sort of a mini-golf, arcade place with go-carts. We came here as a diversion when the heat got too hot and the list of activities dwindled. There is only so much to do in Manteca. This place is pretty cool, though. Even has a climbing wall which, last time we were here, produced quite a debacle. I will have to ask Dan's permission to write about that one. Unfortunately, it costs like $50 million to ride on one ride so we were out of money after one round of mini-golf and one go-cart ride. Then we were hot and cranky and hungry. So we opted for lunch and Borders. Man, I love sitting in Borders with a coffee and a book. Yay me!!!
