Letni Slavnost...Summer Celebration

The last day of school there was a big event for families to celebrate Summer. The children who had participated in Krouzky (extra curricular activites), sponsored by the school, put on a recital and there were snacks and games for the kids. We had gone to this event last year as we were looking to put Rebekah in this school, we didn't understand anything and felt really out of place. How nice this year to understand, feel at home and actually participate in the event. Rebekah took a oriental dance class all year and they performed their dance for us.
In the top picture Roxie is playing with her friends from kindergarten (skolka), next is pictured Rebekah rehearsing with her classmates, then Roxie and Rebekah are pictured with our great friend, Teta Ana (Aunt Ana), who is like an adopted Grandma to the girls and a good friend of mine. She came to the event just to see Rebekah dance. The last picture is of my boss (center) who is the principal (reditel) of the school, on the right is the vice mayor of the town and on the left is the lady who runs the krouzky. They are giving an end of the year speech.
