Poison or Remedy? Hard to tell the difference...Last Friday night we were having our Biblestudy group at our house and I was really sick to my stomach. Many times I had to excuse myself for extended periods of time in the bathroom and hope that I wouldn't die thus creating an awkward situation with our many guests. Due to the nature of my illness our Czech friends kept telling me that I should take a swig or two of the highly revered Becherovka herbal liquor known for its healing powers of all known gastric maladies. Coincidentally, we had some Becherovka on hand as Dan had received a HUGE bottle of it as a birthday gift from some of his students. A swig of this made me fell 100 times WORSE...I was heaving afterwards. I don't know if the Czechs have a different genetic makeup or if I am a royal wimp...but...UGGHH!!!
