It is time to renew our visas again. This year I thought I had done everything correctly and I had hoped to be able to hand in our filr completed with no mistakes. I was wrong. Man, I hope one day to get it right!! I also managed to knock over a vase of flowers on our officer's desk soaking all of her paperwork. I am sure that endeared me to her. After this visit we must fix some mistakes on paperwork, have that translated, go back to the polise with the revisions and hope I don't knock anything else over...maybe then we will get our visas. After the visit where i saoked the officer's desk, we were visited at home late at night by the police. They had pictures of us and were making sure we lived there. Then they went to the OM base where Danny works and to the school where I work, showing everyone our pictures and asking lots of questions about us. Some of our colleagues thought we had done something illegal. "Yes," I told them, "I knocked over a vase and soaked the police officer's desk...and look what it got me."
