O come, O come, Emmanuel
And ransom captive Israel
That mourns in lonely exile here
Until the Son of God appear
Rejoice! Rejoice! Emmanuel
Shall come to thee, O Israel.

Captive Israel, your Saviour comes, so be joyful and give thanks.
We are all Israel...we are captives for whom Christ has come to set free.
Whatever binds us, what holds us prisoner
those bonds He will loosen
those chains He will break.
Jesus has met our greatest need
fragile and broken we come, sick and weary
flawed and utterly unforgivable
He mends, bandages, heals and washes away clean
what ails us
because for us He has an immeasurable love.
Do you feel it?
