cultivating virtue
friendship

I met Frank and Tony when they were 14. They were my helpers in Children's Ministry at First Baptist Church in Watsonville, Califronia. Our friendship began then and has grown over the last 14 (or is it 15? My brain is going, boys, help me with these dates) years. Our love for God, missions, video games, Star Trek and each other has solidified a friendship where time and distance have no impact. These guys have been there for us for so many years with prayers support, kindness and many laughs (Experience Bij!!!). They even got us to go to our first Star Trek convention. (guys, have any pics of that convention on line?). This friendship has been nothing but a blessing for us and for our daughters who have known Frank and Tony since they were both babies. Roxie had a huge crush on them when she was two and would just deposit herself into one of thier laps and they were so patient and loving. They even tolerated the moniker "Frank n Beans" given to them by Roxie so long ago. We are over the moon right now because these guys are coming to see us in the Czech Republic. We are counting down the days (8 more). Frank and Tony, we love you both, you mean the world to us. You are more than just our friends, you are family. See you soon!!!

Believe me, we're SO excited! Thank you so much for the kind words. It has been 14 years...we just turned 28...LOL. Who would have thought God, Star Trek, Missions and food would keep us all together for so many years! Can't wait for next week it's going to be awesome!
