I am teaching Conversational English at zakladni skola Hluboka. I teach 6th, 7th, 8th, and 9th graders. It was very overwhelming to see my name on the door and my desk and classroom. It seems so strange to be in a foreign country and to be a teacher here not just at our base where our team teaches, but to be out in the community teaching at a regular school. The kids here speak hardly any english so it is quite a challenge to my language skills to have totranslate myself into czech so that they can understand me. I really enjoy it though and I am so glad to get to know the students, staff, and to be able to see my oldest daughter, Rebekah, during the day.
