Treti Trida-Third Grade

Rebekah is in the third grade here in CZ. She would have been in fifth grade but with the language we felt (along with the school staff) that it would be better to go down a couple of grades until she is fluent. Then we can reevaluate and see if she needs to be bumped up. She has new friends: Hana, Jana, Dominika, and Sarka. She sits next to Roman who is a crazy boy who spends most of the day undulating in his desk. The little girls have been so kind to Rebekah and lead her everywhere by the hand to show her what to do. Her teacher, Pani Burkova, is so sympathetic and kind. We are very pleased with the school and how this first week has gone. Not without bumps of couse, but better than expected. We really feel that God has cared for our girls and been with them at school, helping them throught this roughest of transitions.
