I had a huge party for all of my students from 6th through 9th grade. We brought in every video game we have and the kids loved it. They played Dance Dance revolution and Guitar hero mostly...it was really fun. dan had made cookies and they got gobbled up.
i miss playing DDR at your house. i have sadly lost my skills since the last time i played it was at your place in salinas. i am pro at guitar hero though!
I enjoyed all the photos and stories. It seems to me that you packed a year of living into one summer! Your niece is a jewel. Tell her it appears that she has the gioft for writing. I certainly enjoyed her comments and observations about Cz people and customs. Always, I pray for your health and your energy as you teach and as you extend yourselves with the neighbors and within the Bible Study. I talked to Carey and Marty Uhler--missi9naries in Portugal and learned that the success of their work involves relationships, relationships,relationships! Sounds like you have figured that out.
