The Tatras are a mountain range in Slovakia. Danny has yearned to climb them for over 4 years. This desire was the beginning of our interest in this part of the world that has since lead to our moving here. This was our first trip as a family to Slovakia. We had to come here for an event that our work wanted us to be at...so we decided to make it our family vacation this summer. This was Dan's first trip to the Tatras he has dreamed of...
Pictured are the cottages that we stayed at while at the Tatras. We really enjoyed this place. There was a creek right by our cottage that you could hear at night. It was so relaxing. And because it was at such a high elevation we often needed a fire in the fireplace at night. The girls really enjoyed the nature surrounding us.
