july 20
Outside my window...fog...thick as pea soup...
From the kitchen...moist lemon cake made by Bekah strewn with fresh Canadian blueberries from our garden. A winning combo...
I am wearing...grey and black spotted pj shorts with a big pink bow on the front annd a matching grey t-shirt
I am thankful for...dragonflies and damselflies
I'm going...to English camp today...on the activities list: Ladies' Spa and Crafts
I am reading...Zoe's Tale by John Scalzi (again)
I am hearing...the girls mocking the Jonas Brothers while getting ready in the bathroom
Around the house...continuing to redo the girls' bedroom. Painting is all done, next step: a trip to Ikea in Linz, Austria (right across the border) for bedding.
I am hoping...summer doesn't fly by too quickly. (Oh, and for my faithful readers, I figured out why my squash leaves, among others, were turning yellow,. One mustn't water veggies from above...leaves hate water...go figure. Each year I learn more and each year my garden is better. I am hoping to pass this on to my girls so that they won't have to start at square one like I did. I was completely ignorant. But the girls hear about the garden every day and I share my tips with them. Roxanne loves to help and is out with me almost every day. Unfortunately, Rebekah sees garden work as one would a chain gang...)
A few plans for the rest of the week: English camp....
A picture thought I am sharing:

I was just like Bekah at her age (and still am) about gardening. I never learned to love it like Nana. You are definitely her granddaughter - :o)
I love what you "were hearing" for the morning. I can totally hear Bekah and Roxie making fun of the Jonas bros and hearing their laughs.
