Last night we gathered with friends and we talked, we laughed, we prayed, we drank water and juice and coffee and wine, we ate bread and cheese and meat and vegetables, we sang "Take Me Home Country Road" and "Blowin in the Wind" in Czech and in English, we listened to two of our friends play guitar really well, we enjoyed an impromptu scene by Benvolio from Romeo and Juliet as played by our friend who would be performing the part later that night at the castle, we looked at a photo album of our friend's trips to Istanbul and Greece, we shook hands and hugged, and we ran home in the rain getting completely drenched and laughing out loud.

Every day we should eat and drink a little, fresh foods from the garden and a sweet or two. Every day we should shake hands with and hug people we love. Every day we should sing and laugh out loud. Every day we should pray, alone and with others who love Him best of all. Every day we should listen to really good music and watch someone bring to life a story, or bring that story to life ourselves. Every day we should revisit good memories. Every day we should walk or run somewhere instead of driving...preferably in the warm summer rain.
